The Milkman Journal

A blog/journal run by Stoivan, where articles and discussions of all kinds can be found.

  • If you are paying attention to politics, especially politics on X, one of the things that you will notice that has become one of the seemingly dominant and most consistently talked about issues on is that of Israel. This has been brewing for quite some time now, as young people (as a general rule, as well as specifically on the right) have become on the more moderate end apathetic towards Israel, and on the more extreme end, extremely hostile to it. There are a variety of reasons for this, but ultimately, this article isn’t about articulating what the proper way to think about Israel is; As a young person, I tend to think that we need to lean towards decoupling ourselves from Israel and from the Middle East and foreign conflict more generally, but that’s not really for me to discuss much here. The reason for the existence of this article is to articulate what I see as problems that are resulting from the fact that this issue has become the issue of the day, and how people are approaching it.

Firstly, it would probably be a good idea to discuss why the people discussing Israel think it’s an important topic, and then we can distill how to approach these things more properly. Besides the Israel Palestine War, the primary issue for people have a problem with Israel is the assistance that the United States provides for them. We annually provide billions of dollars in aid to the state of Israel, as well as work with their intelligence agency, the mossad in conducting operations in the Middle East against Iran and other nations, risking war in region against US interests. For example, in July 2020, Israeli cyber operations caused an explosion and fire at the Natanz nuclear facility, and in 2021 Israel engaged in a cyber operation and caused a blackout in the Natanz nuclear facility. Israel engages in these cyber operations because their interests (understandably) are tied more so to defeating and undermining the other regional powers that surround them, especially Iran. However, it is not in the interest of the United States to engage in another endless war in the Middle East. Despite how cool it sounds to participate in a Call of Duty 4 style invasion of another middle eastern country, it is not in the best interests of the United States to do so.

At best it will accomplish nothing, except for to throw that region into further chaos, and on the worse end it will serve to drag some of the other world powers into the conflict. There are other reasons too for peoples hostility against the state of Israel; much like some other groups of people, people have noticed a tendency (or at least a perceived tendency) for Jewish people, especially online to express in-group preference and anti-white racism. Additionally, in recent times the hostility that certain sects of Judaism (and the religion as whole) have towards Christianity and Christians has become especially apparent, which has also made them to be unpopular. This is compounded further when you have unhinged people like Mark Levin to whom Israel can do no wrong, and whom ignore all of these while treating Israel and Israelis with such reverance you start to wonder if it’s idolatry. Any defense of Israel also rings sour when you realize that it seems as though the people making the defenses are doing so at the expense of prioritizing American citizens, or at least are failing to prioritize Americans. For example, Ben Shapiro recently defended the great replacement and H1B visa program specifically, which is one of the hallmarks of our corrupt immigration policy, and is completely incompatible with any vision of the future that is truly MAGA or America First. Would he make this same argument for Israel? Does Israel lack talent? Would Ben Shapiro be upset if the Israeli state started to import people in order to replace their native population and take their jobs against their will? Somehow I suspect that he would, and yet interestingly he feels no strong emotion about these things happening in his native land. All of these things and more have produced great frustration with any sort of Zionism in our movement as being a manifestation of Hyphenated Americanism and while that is very understandable, and peoples reactions to all of this are likewise understandable, I would ultimately argue that optically speaking, the way people are attempting to tackle this is not ideal. Much of this is very online, and regardless of whether or not it’s true “the Jews” and “Zionist Occupied Government” doesn’t convince the average voter to go to the polls. It doesn’t convince them to vote America First, if anything it drives them away because it’s annoying to have to hear about Israel and “the Jews” all the time, even if to some extent what is being said is true.

As a unified political right, it is important to return to the messaging that won in 2016 and won again in 2024. We MUST be America First, we must make America Great Again. Instead of constantly sperging out about the Jews and Israel on X, we need to return to the messaging of “No more foreign wars” and freeing ourselves of the influence foreign powers have on us. That was messaging that definitively worked in the real world, and it was messaging that appealed to the American people, no further explanation needed. This was messaging that even appealed to more traditional republican demographics, such as Zionist evangelicals. Jew and Israel sperging/obsession needlessly gives the Establishment right ammo that they will use to fire back at you and call you anti-semite/neo-nazi to discredit you, whereas the other messaging not only was broadly appealing, there was no answer to it from the establishment, which is why they have been slowly pushed out of the party since Trump won in 2016. If we want to be a serious political movement, and actually defeat the political left forever (our entire civilization depends on our ability to pull this off) then please calm down with the Jew sperging, and return to the America first messaging that actually moves the ball down the field and moves the needle closer to victory.

  • One might look upon the title of this and think it to be clickbait. I will grant, the English language itself is not in any danger of dying out soon, in the sense that many still speak it. The Anglosphere (That compromising of the United States, Canada, UK, etc) is the business center of the world in many ways. Outside of it, the English language is considered to be the business language of the world in large part, being learned in many countries alongside their native languages. So what then is meant by the title of this article?

English may be commonly spoken, but the version of it that has become commonplace has become dysfunctional and somewhat nonsensical.

I think that there are a variety of causes for this. The most recent manifestation (of our language degrading, as well as of our general cultural decay) would be ‘brainrot’, primarily as it pertains to the usage of slang. Slang like “gyatt”, “rizz”, “ohio”, “gooning”, etc are examples of this, but they’re not the only ones. Before we had brainrot, there was hip hop slang and hood speak, before that we had some people (though less than now) whose entire dialect was made up of whatever slang was popular at the time, and of course, there have always been people using “f**k” and “s**t” every other word.

I think what is fair to observe is that in the modern age, it seems to be so commonplace for these practices to be the standard. If you compare the articulation and intelligence of average people around 50 years ago against their modern day counterparts, there is no question about which one is of superior quality. When watching interviews with people in the past, even as recently as the 2000s (crazy that it seems so long ago now) people speak in a much more clear, concise, articulate manner than they do now.

This problem especially becomes more apparent when you go online. Looking at the way people talk on social media, or in emails and messages in chat rooms (like on Discord or in Group chats). Compare to their counterparts in the 1990s or the 2000s, they are of a much more inferior quality grammatically speaking. No punctuation, periods, correct use of commas or capitalization, etc.

What especially bothers me about this is that if you decide to go against the mainstream by speaking in a more sophisticated and intellectual manner, it causes you to be more difficult to understand. You might be using words that are actually not insanely obscure to describe your thoughts, and yet you might have a hard time getting those ideas across to people because there vocabulary is much smaller than that of people in previous generations and decades. In fact, (I had actually completely forgotten about this until I started thinking about writing this article), this was why I made a conscious decision a few years back to actually try and make the vocabulary I use less varied, so that most people in my life, at work and at school would have an easier time understanding me.

This is partially why I decided to start “The Milkman Journal” in the first place. I had profound realization recently, I was scrolling the X feed for Nicki Minaj, and I realized, in reading some of the tweets that she had posted to her account, that a number of them were actually more articulate than many of the thoughts in my own head that I have on a regular basis. This was something I found to be remarkably disturbing (no offense to Mrs. Minaj) and so I decided to make the conscious effort to reform the quality of my own thoughts, and the way I transmit them.

I don’t think slang (even modern slang) is bad, I’m not even fully convinced that curse words are universally bad, however the danger with both certainly lies in their ability to overcome the way people talk, to the point where most of the things people say sounds almost nonsensical because of how much of it consists of slang and curse words. As a result, all I would do is encourage people to be careful so as not to let that happen to them. To expand your vocabulary is to exercise your brain like a muscle, and it certainly can do you no harm!

I’m curious to see what you guys have to say about all this, so please let me know down in the comment section what you think, and remember to always keep living the dream my friends!

  • Hello all! First things first, I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Stoivan. My primary presence on the Internet is on X, where I post my random thoughts, however you can also find me on Truth social as well. I also have channels on Youtube, Odysee, and Rumble, where I intend to make some form of video/audio content in the not too distant future. I am a Conservative (though I prefer to call myself a rightist). I take an interest in Philosophy, politics, culture, video games, Computers (especially in Linux and Free software), Electric scooters/bikes, and craps. That’s not everything I am interested in, but it does tell you a number of things I do take an interest in.

I started this blog because I wanted to put my thoughts out into the world; I really like X and it is really good for that sort of thing, but I wanted to do it in more of a long form format, and it’s expensive to do that on X, so I am here. I also intend to use this site as a way to try and reform my use of language, as well as to try and improve my writing ability and style, and I hope that you lovely people out there on the Internet enjoy the articles I write! I have a lot to say, and I hope you stick around to hear some of it, if it so interests you.

To everybody who choose to follow what I write or post or say on the internet in general, I sincerely appreciate you. I aim to try and produce thoughtful content which improves your life in one manner or another. I would love nothing more than to bring positivity into the world and to improve the lives of others, even when observing the more negative and cynical parts of the world. I think that you’re going to make it, and you’re going to do great things in your life, and I hope you believe in yourself just as much as I do!

Keep living the dream my friends!
